I had a wonderful time at Dimitri's fragrance workshop and couldn't recommend it more to anyone interested in learning more about fragrances. Dimitri is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about teaching this craft to others. He is kind, patient, and happy to answer any questions about the art of making a fragrance. His class was well organized and well thought out. He included all of the materials needed to craft your own fragrance to take with you. He also included a notebook and workbook to help with the learning process. He was even kind enough to provide coffee, tea, and breakfast for everyone in the class.
Even if you're not participating in a workshop, I would highly recommend checking out his space. He makes several wonderful fragrances that are worth trying out. His workshop is an excellent addition to the Sugar House area!

I absolutely loved this perfume class!! Dimitri is very knowledgeable and has a cool relaxed energy. He also adapted the class based on the knowledge and vibe of the students. The course content was a great mix of hands on and materials based learning. Even having taken fragrance classes before I learned so many new things! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Workshop
Fantastic workshop. I came in with some home blending experience and still learned plenty — the blending sheets make you think about ratios instead of just guessing, and the material selection is better than I expected for a workshop setting. My daughter came with me and walked out with a blend she loves, which says a lot about how approachable it is. We both left with bottles we're actually going to wear. Highly recommend.

Meditative and Relaxing
This fragrance, like the slow growing Japanese cypress it’s named after, makes you pause and slow down. Imagine a forest at dusk with amber sunlight filtering through the subtle smoke of temple incense. You can’t help but take a breath and wind down for the day.

Transports You to an Evergreen Forest
This room spray really feels like you’re walking through the forest at Mirror Lake on a crisp, cool early misty morning. There’s the smell of the young, green pine needles, the herbaceous juniper berries, cool ozonic airy notes, and hint of citrus with a subtle smokiness. I have really enjoyed how comforting and grounding this original scent in my home!

Dimitri's passion for, and knowledge of, fragrance is palpable. He is clearly skilled in his art and attending his Perfumery Workshop was an amazing experience. Each stage of the workshop built on itself until you find yourself with pipette in hand purposefully making your own fragrance recipie. You leave with a classy bottle of your own creation and additional excitement for the depth and possibilities of perfumery. I had a great time and recommend signing up wholesale.
